Store Adore Shoppers Now Save 30% on Everything at Braccialini (New York)

Posted in Exclusive Discounts, Sales & Events (New York), Store Adore Blog
By Store Adore

Store Adore shoppers now save 30 percent at Braccialini (up from 10 percent).

Since 1954, this family-run company has been churning out rich leather handbags from its Florence-based showroom that are unlike any you’ll see elsewhere—guaranteed. Equal parts kitschy, ironic, opulent (and yes, functional too), the line features bags in forms like a Russian Matroishka doll gilded with gold and precious stone accents, a porcupine handmade of strips of leather with black stone cabachon eyes and a peacock with a lacquered brass beak bursting with feathers. Just as statement-making if a bit less adventuresome, high-end line Braccialini and more youthful little sister Tua by Braccialini round out the brand’s offerings.

We Adore: The Chantal (regularly $842.00, Store Adore Price $757.80) has a chic European feel and an understated subtlety. The simple structured design is offset by a glistening patent leather finish and a shelling detail.

Click here for information on the Braccialini store in New York and for details on how to redeem the offer.

Pre-Holiday Trunk Show at Thistle & Clover (New York)

Every once and a while, we come across a single store with so much great merch, such incredibly fabulous taste, and an amazing array of style staples that we are reminded as to why we use our ovens for sweater storage. Thistle and Clover is one of those stores. Serving the Forte Greene fashionistas (and all of greater Manhattan- let’s face it, we will take the Q nine subway stops for T&C) isn’t an easy, so we don’t know how the shop found the time to invite all of us Store Adore Shoppers to this fantastic trunk show!

The girls of T & C cordially invite you to join them Saturday, November 22nd from 7-9PM for a pre-holiday trunk show. Co-hosted by Showroom NY, which fosters the work of talented local designers whose production is also based out of NYC) & Wunderbloc, the show will feature the collections of Chulette and 2fer, as well as Corrente handbags. Cocktails and light bites will be provided, as will a 15 percent discount on every purchase! RSVP at 718.855.5577 or info@thistleclover.com.

Tis the season for … pop up shops! And we’re not just talking about silly street fairs where you can scoop up some beeswax candles for your in-laws. These are truly exclusive chic boutiques, made even more so since they only exist for a limited time.

Samantha Pleet is proud to announce the opening of her LA Pop Up Shop with a Grand Opening Party November 21st from 7-10pm at the store’s location: Space Fifteen Twenty, 1520 N. Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles, CA. The store’s interior was designed by architect Patrick McGovern and includes crypt-like crevices and glowing, illuminated podiums, creating a truly mystical setting.

The Samantha Pleet Pop Up Shop will house both Samantha and Patrick Pleet fashions along with vintage items and hand selected curiosities plucked from Paris and other locations by Samantha herself. The store will also feature Jewelry by Pamela Love, belt collaboration Samantha Goes to the Library, accessories by Kendi, Yana bags, prints by William Latta and jewel-encrusted skulls by Natasha Laws. Along with Samantha’s favorite films, books, music, and Rapscallion clothing line, the Pop Up Shop is a cool comparison of Urban Outfitters, where the Rapscallion line was featured.

The Samantha Pleet Pop Up Shop Grand Opening Party is on Friday November 21st from 7-10pm at 1520 N. Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles, CA. Enjoy tea macaroons and a special performance by Ariel’s Pink Haunted Graffiti.

RSVP to rsvp@samanthapleet.com

New Exclusive Deal: Store Adore Shoppers Save 20% on Everything at Exhibitionist NYC!

Announcing the latest Store Adore deal: Save 20 percent on your purchase at Exhibitionist NYC.

With the right design touch, goth can go smoking hot. Madonna proved it in her “Like a Prayer” video (what’s fiercer than blood, fire and a black negligee?), and these days, the trappings of goth-chic show up everywhere from emo concerts to Parisian runways. Back in 2001, jewelry designer Michael Spirito hooked celebs and style junkies on Exhibitionist NYC, his high-end line with a sense of humor. In his shop on Orchard Street, Spirito’s dramatic pieces rest on velvet in glass cases amid a grotesque yet impossible-not-to-stare-at display of giant framed insects. The collection draws on the inevitable religious iconography (crucifix pendants dangle from crossed pirate swords, and delicate curved crosses look almost like tree branches), as well as skull, pearl and crown themes. Though it’s, er, dominated by a dark, spiky S&M vibe, the ballsy collection knows how to have fun—and can at times even play adorable. From mini skull earrings with diamond eyes (among the line’s biggest—and cutest—sellers) to onyx spears, angel-wing pendants and dramatic marquis gems in ornate medieval settings, the line derives its eccentric grace from clean silhouettes, beautiful gems and glittering finishes. (Prices start at around $500 for a silver flaming-heart pendant but soar into the thousands for custom work and diamonds.) The store takes custom orders and has the most to offer, but check out the website to shop select pieces and browse Spirito’s signature line of extravagant multistrand stunners in dramatic hues. Store Adore shoppers save 20 percent at either spot.

We Adore: The 6 Skull Ring (regularly $360, Store Adore price $288) for its glam meets goth designs. This piece will make any jeans-and-tee day seem like a special one. Choose from five different stones as eye colors. We like the unexpected dash of femininity provided by the pink cz shown, but amethyst and onyx are cool too.

We Adore: These Small Wing Studs (regularly $50, Store Adore price $40) are at once flirty and rebellious.

We Adore Somehow, this snake duo pendant (regularly $155, Store Adore price $124) seems romantic.

The Shoe Box Designer Shoe Sale Weekend (New York)

One of my favorite regular neighborhood rituals is sushi at Haru followed by a walk down Third Avenue past Big Drop, Scoop and The Shoe Box, where the lavish selection of foot candy will set the shoe junkie’s heart atwitter. I can’t count the number of booties that have caught my eye of late (plus those ballet flights in midnight blue!) but I’ve been holding off until the sale starts. And now, it’s right around the corner.

At The Shoe Box annual Fall/Winter Sale weekend, enjoy 20 percent off the entire store, including shoes, boots and bags from KORs, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Frye, Sergio Rossi, Guiseppe Zanott, Cynthia Vincent, D&G, Rebecca Minkoff, Lauren Merkin, Botker, Foley + Corinna and more.
